Many tourists tell tales of queuing for several hours, only to be turned away at the door. Some of Berlin’s clubs are famously exclusive. Happy travels! A Note About Clubs in Berling

This guide is to help you navigate the best of gay Berlin. With so many bars, clubs, and parties, Berlin’s gay scene can seem a little overwhelming. It’s world famous for labyrinthine underground techno parties where anything goes. On top of being gay friendly, Berlin’s party scene is surely one of the best in Europe. For more of Berlin’s queer history, check out Schwules (the world’s biggest queer museum) and Spinnboden (Europe’s largest lesbian archive). Here, not only will you find gay bars in Berlin, you can also take a queer walking tour to learn more about the history of LGBT Berlin. So, diving into the gay Berlin scene is easy, but sorting out the best it has to offer…that’s another story.īerlin is home to the world’s first gay district – Schöneberg. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find a bar that isn’t at least a little bit queer. Whatever your sexuality or gender expression, Berliners don’t bat an eyelid. With a very alternative, liberal population and a world-famous underground scene, being LGBT in Berlin is accepted everywhere. The music was excellent.Out of all the cities in Europe, Germany’s capital is a queer haven. Everyone is in a good mood, there is absolutely no inappropriate behaviour, everything is done with consent. The club is very big, there are multiple bars from which you can get very cheap drinks (at least for me who lives in Switzerland).
Berlin gay sex club skin#
You have to show a minimum of skin though (I mean, it's the purpose of the club). You take off your clothes right in front of the cloakroom and their system is quite well organised, they do ask you to put your phone in your jacket pocket (which makes you feel comfortable). The bouncers didn't even ask a single question, just checked the ID.
Berlin gay sex club code#
There is no dress code for this party and no one got rejected before we got in. My female friend and I got there just after 11pm on a Monday night (the party is called Electric Monday) and the queue was quite short, about 15 minutes of queuing. If you're fine with that, then you're in for a once in a lifetime experience. You have to be extremely comfortable with nudity and promiscuity. I really hope the rumours aren't true and that the club stays open because i would LOVE to come back here again! We arrived at 11pm which is opening time and we didn't have to queue however my friends went on a Saturday last year at the same time and queued for 1hr so if going on a weekend i would leave later. However it was big enough for everyone and it never became too crowded. We went on a Monday - Electric Monday was the name of the event & only 1 room was open. The drinks prices were also reasonable and it was €12 entry. The same happened with your clothes.the club has a clothing optional rule.so most people will go in clothes and once inside change or take off layers to leave in the cloak room.

You leave your phone at the entrance and are given a token which when u leave u give in to get ur phone back. The club has a cloakroom which is free and a no phone policy. It is not forced upon you, you can quite easily stand and dance! But obviously you will see things happening around you that u must feel comfortable with. Surely you read the bio of the club first before going!īecause i don't understand how you can moan there is sex happening when it clearly states it is a sex club! Lol Everyone was respectful and asked permission first. No one forced you to do anything u didn't want to do. We found the staff friendly and the people inside relaxed. This club is exactly what it states it is.a place with good music, friendly staff & a place where you can relax and enjoy urself in whichever way you want too )
